emc_user_ga Posted November 30, 2008 Report Share Posted November 30, 2008 I have a normal backup that is scheduled to run every night (Retropect Express 7.6.111). The Automatic Login user ID and password has been set for the Backup Set member. This is an XP computer on Service Pack 3. Whenever the script executes, I receive the following error: Sorry, Server Login Failed, Error-1116 (Can't Access Network Volume) Please try using Explorer to Connect When I use the same userid and password in Exlorer that is set up for the Backup Set member, I have no problems accessing the device. I can execute an immediate backup in Retrospect Express for the same backup set member with no issues. Also, if Retrospect Express is running when the scheduled backup is initiated, there appears to be no issues with Retrospect Express using the userid/password for the backup set member. So, it appears that this issue only happens when the scheduled backup occurs when Retrospect Express is not running. What am I missing?
