williamrbrown Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 Hi We're running retrospect 6.1.230 on a Mac running leopard.We've just had to restore data from a PC running windows xp pro and discovered that the .pst outlook files weren't backed up, and on further inspection they haven't backed up on any of our windows machines. I've read about open files and the solution for retrospect 7.xx but can't find a solution for Mac 6.1. I'm sure there must be one. Lennart_T Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 The problem is that Outlook won't let ANYONE touch the .pst file while Outlook is running. Make sure your clients turn off Outlook before each backup. The Windows version of Retrospect is almost mandatory for backing up Windows client.
