NewtonStudios
My old Lacie DVD drive has died. It was such a work horse that I'd like to replace it with another LaCie Drive. The LaCie drive available is not listed, so I do not know if it is "Qualified" or "Not Supported". Can you tell me whether or not this drive is compateble with Retrospect 6.1? The LaCie available drive is: 20x d2 DVD±RW Double Layer with lightScribe, Item Number 301196. Thanks for your help.
Mayoff
You need to find out the exact model of optical drive being sold by Lacie (sony, Plextor, etc.).

rhwalker
what more info is there? The manufacturer of the drive that LaCie is putting in the box. I suspect that they are using several different manufacturers. Some may be supported with Retrospect, some may not. You might call LaCie's technical support.
