mcmeini
Hello! I want to buy the Plextor B920SA Blu-Ray Writer, but before I want to know if someone has tested this writer with retrospect? If yes, does the writer function properly? I have seen that the predecessor Plextor PX-B900A is already certified with Retrospect. (see http://www.emcinsignia.com/supportupdates/technical/retrospect/detail/?id=9685). Therefore I hope that the successor B920SA is also compatible. Thanks for help
Mayoff
If the unit is not listed in the compatibility database as supported, then it will probably not work with Retrospect.
rhwalker
If the unit is not listed in the compatibility database as supported, then it will probably not work with Retrospect. I'd suggest a quick read of the Retrospect Driver Update (RDU) release notes, too. There are many devices that are shown as supported in the RDU release notes that are not in the compatibility database.
mcmeini
Does the Auto Configuration tool for non certified devices until now, function with Blu-Ray devices? Where I can find the Retrospect Driver Update (RDU) release notes? Edited November 30, 2008 by Guest
Mayoff
No, I don't think it supports Blu Ray
