Red5NC
How do I back up files on another computer on my home network? I have Vista (64-bit) and just installed Retrospect Epress HD 2.5. When I went to set up the back up program and tried to click on network folders it would not put a check mark in the box so I could not access any network files. How do I get those files to backup to the external HD I have on the PC with Express HD?
Mayoff
Network backup is best performed with Retrospect Professional not Express HD You can try to share out the disk and map it as a drive letter in Windows, but the program really is only designed to backup local disks not network disks.
