yefchak
Hi folks, I just installed RetroExpress HD (included with my new Iomega drive) and performed a full backup. So far, so good. BUT now every time I boot, I get the error "RetroExpress.exe has stopped working". I'm running Vista (32-bit Professional) on a brand new Sony VAIO with 3 GB ram. What's up? Thanks, --George
clrink
Did you ever find out what was causing this? I have a client with the same problem, newest version of Retrospect Express HD, Vista Home Premium SP1. Regards, Chris
Peter Rose
Hello, I too have the same problem and get the message "RetroExpress.exe has stopped working" on starting Windows. I am running Retrospect Express HD 2.5 with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (32-bit) on a one year old desktop. Thanks in advance for any help on this. rwkmann
I used a free program called Startup Delayer to delay starting RetroExpress.exe for two minutes at startup and it seems to have cured my problem. Looks like an interaction issue. You can find it using a search. Roland
