netsys
I have users who need admin rights to their local machines for various reasons, but who have a tendency to override or turn off the Retrospect client. I'd like a group-policy type option to lock the client settings down. Is this possible and I'm just missing it? Mayoff
Sorry, we don't have that option at this time.
emulator
Robin... This might be possible if the permissions were set to allow only certain domain admins access to the Retrospect prefs file. Is there something like this on Windows? Also, one might write a script and place it in the scheduled tasks to start the Retrospect service on a regular interval. If the service is running, things will be fine. If the service is not running, the task should restart it.
Mayoff
Turning the client off is not the same as stopping a service. No preference file exists for the Retrospect Client.
