watchmemove
Hello, i`ve tried to update the Retrospect Client from Ver. 7.5 to 7.6 on a W2K3 Server with disabled Firewall. I´ve got an Internal Error 2753 (retfwset.exe) and Setup stops. Why do i get this Error, when my Firewall is disabled and how to resolve the Problem? Mayoff
What process are you using to run the update? When it asks you to open the firewall, have you tried clicking No?
watchmemove
I`ve started the 7.6. Client Installer from a Network Share with an administrative User Account. Setup began to start and after a while the Error (2753) appears. Note: I would like to install the 7.6. Client on a W2K3 Server with Client Vers. 7.5. already installed. The firewall isn´t disabled, as described before. The server doesn´t use any firewall! The firewall service is not in use! In addition, i´ve tried to update the Retrospect Client via Multi-Server Management Tool. Without success. Greetings watchmemove
MRIS
What service pack do you have on your 2003 server? Is it SP2?

Mayoff
Copy the installer local to the computer before you run it. Don't run the installer directly from a network share
watchmemove
Hi, it makes no difference starting the setup with local installation files. Same Error: 2753. watchmemove
MRIS
Have you tried uninstalling 7.5 before installing 7.6? Also can you confirm that the download as an MD5 hash value of 5ec7566610539e4f9068eea30b332ab3, since I am suspecting that your download may be corrupt.
