jishaq
Hello, While I was running Retrospect MultiServer 7.5 to back up one of my machines, the Activity Monitor showed it was backing up a huge (16-gig) file that I hadn't intended it to back up. It's just a temporary file that I don't want to keep around. I understand I can go back through and modify my Backup settings so as to exclude this directory, and I intend to do that. My question is, now that the backup is finished, is it possible for me to go in and delete this unwanted 16GB file from the backup snapshot, so it doesn't use up an unruly amount of space on my backup set? Thanks! -Jeff
Mayoff
With a disk backup set, you can delete that snapshot and have the data groomed out. http://kb.dantz.com/article.asp?article=7941&p=
