dickross@mac.com Posted December 3, 2004 Report Share Posted December 3, 2004 hello, i want to use a ecrix vxa 1 with retrospect 5 express or retrospect 4.1. the only problem is that retrospect can´t find any driver for the vxa 1 drive. i´m using a g4 with scsi card and an scsi vxa 1 drive. i allready put the 4.1 update into the retrospect 4.1 folder. nothing. and it doesn´t work with the 5 express. my g4 runs under os 9.2.2 regards phil Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I doubt this is going to work with Retrospect 4.x You may have to go with Retrospect 5.1/6.0 desktop instead. You can download a trial at the dantz website. AmyJ Posted February 10, 2005 Report Share Posted February 10, 2005 The VXA-1 drive was not supported until Retrospect 4.3 Desktop. Retrospect Express will not work with a SCSI tape drive.
