myron Posted April 8, 2002 Report Share Posted April 8, 2002 I downloaded a Retrospect Express Update to 5.0 for Macintosh. It installed and works fine in Mac OS X. I am unable to install it on Mac OS 9.2.2. It fails during installation with a file error with the file "Readme-Retrospect Express.htm". The only choice I have is to quit the installation, hence, it doesn't get installed. Anyone have any insight, Particularly at Dantx? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ZakB Posted April 9, 2002 Report Share Posted April 9, 2002 What is the full error from the installer? Have you tried a fresh download? Is the OS 9.2.2 on the same machine as the OS X? If so, you can launch the installed version (the version you installed on Mac OS X) when booted into 9.2.2. The same application will be able to run in both operating systems.
