Running Retrospect

Recommended Posts

I have a PowerMac 8500 using OS 9.1, and I have been using Retrospect v 4.3 for some time with no problem. However, recently when trying to backup my hard drive I have the following problem. I've tried to make a full backup copy on my Zip drive. I follow the proper procedure, inserting a disk when asked. It is labeled "disk number 1". When it fills, it gets kicked out and instead of my being asked to install "disk number 2", I'm asked to reinstall "disk number 1". If I do this, the computer freezes and the Zip drive icon disappears. I have to restart the computer. If I put in "disk number 2", it gets kicked out. I tried removing "Retrospect" from my files and reinstalling it, even downloading upgrade v 4.3 again. Nothing works. Does anyone know my problem?

Thanks

Wilto
