mmurrin Posted July 18, 2007 Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 We are in the process of migrating data from one netware server to another. The backup speeds are really good. 1 Gb-800MB/ min. But when we are doing the restores the restore speed is horrible. At best we are getting about 75MB/min. I have tried the restores on 2 different netware servers and we are getting the same speeds. When I restore to a windows server I get about 1.2 GB/min. Is this typical or is there something wrong here? The netware client I am using is 1.00.1.140. The backup is very fast, but the restore can take more than 24 hours, and often doesn't work properly. Have you had any luck resolving this?
