Ability to reconfigure client, define subvolumes when offline

Recommended Posts

I'd like to request the ability to make changes to a Retrospect Client's configuration, even if it's offline. For example, I'd like to be able to rename a laptop client, define a subvolume by path (Windows "C:\Documents and Settings\" or Mac OS "Macintosh HD:Users:"), or update its client software, even if the laptop is offline. The next time the client goes online, Retrospect will apply the changes I requested, logging any problems if necessary. Until the changes have been applied, the Client Properties dialog box might indicate that they're 'pending' and give me the ability to cancel their application.

Thanks!
