DrBoar Posted June 29, 2007 Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 The Macintosh 6.1 has a very good feature despite all other bugs and flaws. The ability to an other computer as a backup device. I have two sets of backups running alternate weeks. The first is to external harddrives, the other week to a off site FTP server. Prior to this I did tapes, a tedious shuffle of tapes in and out of the safe. Now if the backupserver is destroyed by flood fire or theft I still have the other set in an other building. The win version offer "backup set transfer" that offer some of the same functionality but then you will duplicate one set at two locations.
