RogerS Posted June 21, 2007 Report Share Posted June 21, 2007 Can anyone shed light on this? I upgraded to version 7.5 when it first came out. I use a Maxtor 350Gb Firewire 800 external drive as my backup drive. It works fine for backing up, and has restored several total disasters successfully. I use it only for my workstation files. Yesterday, for the first time in three years, I found need to create a new backup set. (I always just recycled my three existing sets) When I "Finish" the Backup set creation wizard, it failes with: " Error -1101 (File/Directory not found). Hugh? I can access this external drive and any file, folder, directory without problem. I can create, modify, delete, anything. I can backup/restore to and from this drive. I just emptied my "Sept" Backup set from last year for more space. Worked fine. So why the error? I originally created the existing sets on this drive without issue. My current versions are:7.5.324 and 7.5.9.102. I'll be upgrading to the latest versions sometime this week. Any ideas? Someone? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
