uli Posted July 11, 2002 Report Share Posted July 11, 2002 Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to post a question. Long time user of retrospect. Have not had this happen before. Set up to restore a folder with files. Found files restore is running say's completed but did not restore the files selected? It seems to see them but not restore them. Any suggestions? This is on one machine on server involved. Have restarted. Read through trouble shooting but can't find any answers. help! Uli Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AmyJ Posted July 12, 2002 Report Share Posted July 12, 2002 So the restore says it completed all the files, but the folder does not actually contain the files? What if you "Get Info" on the folder - do you see the correct file count? If so, when you're setting up your restore, try changing the pull-down menu from "Restore Files and Folders" to "Restore Just Files." Often this is the result of the folders either flagging those files as invisible, or having permissions that don't match up with what you have access to.
