Richy_Boy
Hey all; I'm having problems atm backing up individual mailboxes (although we do a full database backup also which is successful)... I'd like to be able to delete ALL mailbox backups from a storage group so that I can be sure that when the backup runs there is nothing it is trying to update that is already on the tape / catalogue. It looks like I have to go through every single mailbox at a time, delete.. wait a couple of minutes for Retrospect to start responding again... delete the next mailbox.. etc etc. Is there a way I can select multiple mailboxes and then let Retrospect do it's thing? It takes an awful long time doing it one by one! Cheers, Richard
AmyJ
It is not possible to delete multiple snapshots at one time. You can, however, turn off "Matching" in your script options to make sure all files are backed up again.
Richy_Boy
Ok thanks Amy. I wanted to clear down any mailbox backup I had and reduce the chances of problem doing a fresh backup. It's taking about 2-3 minutes per mailbox to delete one by one. I'm just glad I only have 45 of them to do! Thanks again Rich
