joaquin Posted April 7, 2007 Report Share Posted April 7, 2007 Has anyone who reads this forum ever done a scripted encrypted backup? Retrospect is starting up and then quitting immediately with the message: "error -703 (need a user-entered password, but can't ask)." I sit there and watch this happen. I can't find anything in the documentation, help, or this forum that says why Retrospect can't ask. I'd sure answer if it did. I can do the same backup manually; Retrospect asks for the password; I enter the password; Retrospect backs up.
