Paul_2978 Posted March 12, 2007 Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 Ok I am using windows vista rightclicking the application and running as administrator as this is apparently an issue. No firewall running. and have access to all the networked pc I get an error when backing up from a networked pc. eg workgroup I have the passwrd entered correctly the error i get is trouble reading files, error 1010 (API request bad) error - 1017insuffcient permissions the script does not run. We have had the programming running on XP and none of these problems occur so there is nothing wrong with the network. Can anyone help? jOlsson Posted April 3, 2007 Report Share Posted April 3, 2007 Hi paul, I had the same problem here, in it was Retrospect that had lost its pointers to the correct subfolder on the client computer, so I had to redefine the subfolder for the client computer in Retrospect.
