8ballz
Im really not impressed with the 1000 GB limit on backup set's. Other than that I have absolutelyu no complaints about retrospect, I think it's a great software. Unfortunately if that 1000GB limit is not removed I will have no choice but to find an alternative solution (i.e. another software). I run a network at a multimedia company, which as you can imagine produces enormous size files. My backups run anywhere from 750 GB to 2 TB, and then some.... Well first of all I can do a recycle backup most of the time with no problem... but then theres no room left for incremental's, and it takes me 4 days just to do the full.... Sorry to sound abrubt, but im rather agrivated. Please take this thread into serious account. Thank you.
Mayoff
As noted in another thread, Retrospect 6.0 for Windows does not have this limit. 6.0 will be released later this summer
ChuckS
You've probably already noticed this if you watch the website, but Retrospect 6.0 for Windows has raised the storage limit for a backup set to 1PB (1 Petabyte). If you hadn't, hopefully this reply will reach you by e-mail if your forum account was configured to send you notification of replies to your post.
