SeanSeanSean
In contrast to EFS encrypted files and sparse files, Retrospect Pro 7.5.324 does not backup or restore NTFS compressed files in their compressed state. I request that Retrospect support backing up and restoring NTFS compressed files. Even if a future version of Retrospect does not get the actual compressed bits, it would be helpful to record the compression attribute (and algorithm too if possible, for custom algorithms) so that files are restored compressed. See Platform SDK for GetFileAttributes, FILE_ATTRIBUTE_COMPRESSED, DeviceIoControl, and FSCTL_GET_COMPRESSION.
