Armando Posted October 18, 2006 Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 I see from the Retropect manual that when a drive is setup for certain media(DVD+R) a default write speed is set. It also shows how this can be changed/modified from the Devices menu(Set Write Speed). This option is not available to me under the Devices menu. It's a LaCie Dual Layer 16X DVD/CD Firewire burner.
