michelmueller
I just try to get a VXA-2 Firewire drive running on my Windows 2000 Server. But Retrospect does not recognize the streamer. I got Retrospect 5.15 workgroup installed. And I am working with this installation for already 2 years - with Retrospect and Veritas. On the VXA-1 SCSI I got the Veritas 4.01381.1 driver And now, to get the VXA-2 working, I installed the 5.0.2183.1 driver from the VXA-2 CD. From the 2000 System all sounds fine: the Adaptec Firewire card is functional and so the 5.02183.1 for IEE 1394 tape drive. What is going wrong? AmyJ
The VXA-2 drive is not supported with Retrospect 5.15. Minimum Windows requirements: Retrospect 6.0 RDU 3.4.106 Edition Professional Firmware 1001
