rrs
I am trying to backup a new client from Retrospect 5.15 (Win2k). From the host I can connect to the machine and synchronize its clock for example. But when I click the Volumes tab on the machine's Property dialog box, I get an error -518 (not enough backup client memory). Same thing happens if I try to select (Preview button) files to backup during an Immediate Backup. The machine has 256 KB of RAM and two large (60 GB) hard drives mounted. I found no useful info in the Knowledgebase. Any helpful chatter would appreciated. Thanks, Dick
lv2ski
At this point I would try upgrading to 5.6. 5.6 fixed a few memory issues....that could be resulting in the behavior you mentioned.
