jwalthour
Retrospect Gurus: I have a small wireless network at home consisting of 2 Windows XP PCs. One is running Retrospect 5.6 Desktop and the other is running the current client. ONCE last night I was able to get the Desktop software to "see" the client and register it. However, now it refuses to see it. Both machines' IP info hasn't changed. I can ping the client both by ip address and dns name. I can even browse to it in Windows Explorer. Any ideas why the machine can see it, but Retrospect can't? Thanks. Jon Walthour, BSCD Cincinnati, Ohio
lv2ski
Any firewalls on this machine or inbetween this machine and the backup server machine? How many NIC cards does the client machine have? Any new NIC cards in the main backup machine?
