jeffro
Is there some easy way to migrate scripts and the volumes database from one machine to another? We are setting up a brand new machine for Retrospect server 5.6 to work on, and already copied over the backup catalogs. Likewise is there anything special that needs to be done so that the scripts chug on along as if we had never switched to a new system.... Thanks very much! todhsals
I've done this 3 times & it's extreemly easy. The details are in the retrospect users guide
lv2ski
You will need to copy over your config files found in your Retrospect folder. Both config55.bak and .dat need to be moved. Your catalog files also need to be moved over to the new machine.
