Guest
I'm running a single server network and want to back up client computers. It's easy enough to have the clients manually initiate their backups using the client software, but they're never going to remember so I'd really rather automate the process. The problem is that they're primarily undocked users who not only travel regularly, but don't even necessarily stick to any kind of normal office hours when they're in town. Is there some way to set a backup script to automatically launch when a client logs onto the network? Thanks! -Dom
IrenaS
A Backup Server Script! That's precisely what they are designed for. Backup server contantly polls the network looking for new clients, and then backs them up. For a full description, take a look at the User's Guide, which you can download from: http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=latest_docs Here's a link to Backup Server FAQ on our website: http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=bscommonq
