jtown
I am using Windows Server edition 5.6.127. I have one client that is operating Mac OS X. Each time I do a backup on this machine, just as it finishes, I get an error...Assertion failure at "xform.cpp-523" This kills the entire backup process. It appears to only be a problem with OS X, I am backing other Mac clients that are using Mac OS 9 and earlier. Is there a patch on the way for this problem? ecrm
I know not about a patch but I have seen this error as well and have fogotten the client then put it back and in another instance reinstalled on the client machine. Have you performed any client updates via the server update program? -dave

jtown
From the latest postings, it appears that Retrospect Server for windows will not back up a Mac OSX client. Are there plans for a upgrade to address this issue, and if so when may we expect it?
lv2ski
Retrospect for Windows does not support backing up MAC OSX Clients at this time. Look for this in the next release. (We do not have a time frame for this).
