pjs52 Posted March 11, 2002 Report Share Posted March 11, 2002 I received the following message a few days in a row on Retrospect Backup Server ver. 5.6: MapError: unknown Windows error 1,398 TVol::openAsNtDevice: CreateFile failed, G:\, winerr 1398, error -1001 The server proceeded to fill the remainder of the backup tape, but did not complete the script. This message just appeared over and over again until the tape ran out of room. Has anyone gotten this message before? What does it mean??
