MarkM Posted February 19, 2002 Report Share Posted February 19, 2002 My version of Retrospect is 5.5.158, backing up to ADR tape using Windows 2000 Server. I would like to setup a simple nighly backup on my server that does a full backup. I have written a script that will do this, but my problem is in the destination backup. For now, all I want to do is have it write all the data out to any tape that I put in the backup drive. When I do a media check it tells me the media for scripts "DailyFullBackup" is unavailable. I know I could erase the tape, give it a new media name and add that media name to the destination in the script, but would like just to put a tape in, have it backup the data that night, remove and label the tape and put another tape for the next night.
