"Not enough space for selected files" error

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

I'm attempting to backup numerous servers, workstations etc. to a large RAID device (XServe) and am receiving the following log when backing up large machines. Machines that only need 100 or 200Mb backed up are working. This reminded me of the old days when large files greater thatn 2GB could not be created due to HFS or FAT16 disks etc... but this appears to be a different thing. The actual disk space is not a problem (around 1.3TB free) and I didn't think there were any file size limitations.

Can anyone shed some light?... Log transcript follows... thanks a lot.

Scott
