ezylstra Posted June 17, 2002 Report Share Posted June 17, 2002 I know this has been mentioned in the Forum before, but I want to put in my comments and second (fifth?) the request. We have a very special storage unit that gives us hundreds of terrabytes of storage on which we wish to place our storage sets (StorageTek PowderHorn 9310). Our first attempt was to get use a Windows NFS client to access the storage space. To my consternation that fails when it comes time for incremental updates or recovery (when files have been rotated from holding disk to tape in the StorageTek unit). Using OS X Retrospect Backup and the FTP option, we have no problems and it works very nicely. Unfortunately, we lose Windows Server backup.
