-24201 Chunk Checksum problem

Recommended Posts

It sounds like the Retro.Config file may be damaged, which can happen with a power failure. Try removing the file from the folder /Library/Preferences/Retrospect. If Retrospect then launches successfully, you've found the problem.

If you've been backing up your entire startup volume, you should be able to restore an earlier copy of the Retro.Config file to a new folder; then quit Retrospect, and drag the restored file to /Library/Preferences/Retrospect. If not, you'll need to recreate your scripts and lists manually.
