Incremental backup becomes full backup

I have Retrospect 11 installed,  on windows 2008 r2 server.  Incremental backups seem to be defaulting to full backup 

 

+ Normal backup using DFS_DecJan_2016 at 1/9/2017 9:00 PM (Execution unit 1)

Using thorough rebuild

The full backup vice incremental occur on different shares at different times and intervals.  I am not able to figure this one out.

Not sure what you mean by "defaulting to full backup". In the log sample, the first backup found 170,040 files and backed up 90,924, a bit more than half. The second backup found 150,567 files and backed up 1,178, less than 1%. Both seem like plausible numbers for incremental backups, although the first is a rather large percentage.
