Retrospect Client Backup

Hello all,

 

 I need to do a Clienti Backup. I have Retrospect Serverfor MAC  12.0.0  and I installed  Retrospect Client version 12.0.2. When i try to add Source Client I can see it in the list, but if I try to add it I have the error -512 no client found in that address.

 

How can I solve this problem?

Which list? The list of Sources or in the Add Source drop-down window?

 

If it is on the Sources list, try deleting the source and then adding it back. If you mean the Add Source window, be sure that the client computer is awake and on the network at the time you are trying to add it.

 

Which method are you using to try and access the client? Multicast, subnet broadcast, or adding directly?

I mean the add source Windows. I am sure Client is on and awake, I find it in the list, but when I try to add it I have error -512.

 

I've tried Multicast and adding directly, but i have the same error -512.   If I do "test address" using IP Client i have the same error -512

What OS version is running on the client computer? What are the firewall settings?

 

When you open the client preference pane, what status does it report?

 

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Retrospect client software?

Client is running OS X 10.9.5, Server is running OS x 10.9.5.

 Firewall is disabled in both MAC. The client preference panel report status is ON and able to connect to Retrospect server.

I've tried to install the last version 12.5.0.111 Retrospect Client and the old version 12.0.2.116.
