jolejeune
We operate a Retrospect MultiServer 11.5.3 with more than 100 clients. Every night a server script scans our network for clients, archiving pre-defined source folders content on our HP LTO5 autoloader. This is working for years without (major) issues. Nevertheless, we do have a problem with a 11.5.2 (104) client running Yosemite (10.10.3). Installing the client software with the relevant password, then defining its source folders on the server always goes flawlessly, but after 2 or 3 days of regular and successful backup of the client, the Retrospect client turns itself off. Trying to change the state using the Client Retrospect System Preferences control panel always fails. The only cure is to trash the Retroclient.state pref from the Library Retrospect Application Support folder, then re-install the client software. This is a pretty annoying behavior … Any clue or suggestion would be appreciated. J.
