henry-in-florida
I found that one of my three Mac client machines would not back up, the cause was a client that had turned itself off(!). I could not force it on in System preferences. Nor would it update from the Server. So I uninstalled the client and reinstalled it and that seems to have worked. What is the reason for a client suddenly turning itself off? I found a very weird situation in examining the Console log after I got the client reinstalled. These entries showed up AFTER reinstalling the client and having it work. There were NO Console entries prior to this event that I could find, relating to the failure of the Client. The console log portion is attached. Since I had restarted the User, there was no log previous to the failure. Even with the errors after installing the client, retrospects backs up now.
