awr Posted January 16, 2014 Report Share Posted January 16, 2014 Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to disable certain types of e-mail notifications within Retrospect. For example, I would like to receive notifications for when backups are successful and for when they time out/fail, but I do NOT want other notifications that tell me Retrospect is opening/exiting each time it runs a script. Here are the notifications I do not want to see e-mailed every day to me: Date: 01/15/2014 + Retrospect version 8.1.0.266 Automatically launched at 01/15/2014 8:00 PM in user account <domain user account here> Script: Backup to Tape Date: 01/15/2014 01/15/2014 8:13:18 PM: Recycle backup: The Backup Set was reset Date: 01/15/2014 Exit at 01/15/2014 8:16 PM If there is some way I can disable these notifications, I would greatly appreciate help on where to find them. I do not want to uncheck the box under e-mail preferences that says "Send e-mail for successful events" because I fear that this will disable my successful backup e-mails, which is what I need to see every day.
