prl 13 Report post Posted July 10, 2013 It doesn't seem to be available for update from within Retrospect yet. Retrospect>Check for Retrospect Updates... gives "You're up-to-date! Retrospect 10.1.0 (221) is currently the newest version available."
cpragman 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2013 The update pricing discussion isn't clear. Is 10.2 a free upgrade for 10.1 users?

prl 13 Report post Posted July 11, 2013 As usual, the OS X update disables optical drivers if they were enabled before the update.

klubar 2 Report post Posted August 7, 2013 I had great hopes that this update was going to fix the email bug. But my hopes were dashed yet again. I applied the update and getting: E-mail notification failed: error -511 ( unknown service message) The really annoying thing is that the email notifications used to work, and broke in 8.1 and are still broken in 8.2. Sending emails is pretty much a solved science. We run a simple local server on the same network as the retrospect server. Nothing fancy.

Here we are 9 days later, and the groom worked perfectly. + Executing Groom D at 8/08/2013 11:07 PM Grooming Backup Set Backup Set D... Groomed 8.0 GB from Backup Set Backup Set D. 8/08/2013 11:07:18 PM: Execution completed successfully Duration: 00:00:06 (00:00:03 idle/loading/preparing) I wonder if version 8.2 does something differently with the catalog file compared with 8.1 ? - Meaning that grooms done after a rebuild in 8.2 will now work with no issue. Anyhow, all looks good at the moment.
