ggirao
BTW any examples of Off-Site Data Storage Strategy?
Lennart_T
Not really, just this old quote: "Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway." So that's what we do: Running Disk-to-disk-to-tape and take our tapes off site. http://k-storage.com/emc/wp_d2d2t_retrospect.pdf (This document just discusses ONE strategy for off site storage.) We were discussing online storage (loosely) with a local provider in our town. They went bankrupt before any serious discussion took place and that ended the discussion (thankfully). You should own the service/servers/storage yourself.
