SCI100 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 using retrospect 7.7.562 on pc server edition, i can locate file to recover from backup, when i try to retrieve the file it just quickly does a recovery and nothing gets recovered! in the past i would replace the catalog and it would recover the file, this is not working, any help please. message is preparing to search quickly tries to recover then indicates files have been restored creates a recovery folder that is empty! mikeycanuck Posted February 26, 2013 Report Share Posted February 26, 2013 I am having the same issue, I think... Multi Server 7.7.620... Having an issue with only one of our 3 backup sets... Can find file successfully but when we click "Retrieve" it does not instruct us to insert a certain tape, says "Preparing to execute" and then "Execution completed successfully" in a second or two... creates an empty retrieval folder... no errors in history, but shows 0.0 under the performance column...
