EricU 3 Report post Posted January 7, 2013 Happy New Year from Retrospect! Now that everyone's back to work and school after the holidays, we wanted to share a little on what you can expect from us in 2013. We saw our biggest release ever in 2012 with features and fixes on both Mac and Windows—client, console, and server—and we have more in store for 2013. Our goal is to have a minor update this spring and a major upgrade this fall. Both will include new features as well as significant improvements and bug fixes. Thank you for your continuing support. We're looking forward to a fantastic 2013! Cheers!
Richy_Boy 18 Report post Posted January 10, 2013 HI Eric, have you got any details on up coming features? I'm assuming the official RS 8.1 release which fixed a number of show stopping bugs in RS 8.0 (windows) will be released before Spring? I've been using the pre-release of 8.1 for two weeks now and it's much more stable. Thanks, Richard
prl 13 Report post Posted January 11, 2013 Is the fix for the performance problems with Instant Scan going to be in the update or in the upgrade?
EricU 3 Report post Posted January 15, 2013 @Richy_Boy and prl: My apologies for the late response. I thought I had locked this topic, which is why I didn't activate email notification for it. The first update will address Instant Scan performance issues and several other areas. We're shooting for Q1 availability.
