redleader
Is there a Script or Uninstall application? I think I need to wipe out Retrospect Server 9.0.2.latest for Mac and start again, as that is the only logic left to my issue here at the moment :-( http://forums.retrospect.com/index.php?/topic/148057-retrospect-902-crash-upon-tape-media-request-mac-os-x-1074/page__fromsearch__1
twickland
There should be an uninstall script located in the Retro 9 folder in Applications.

redleader
Is there an similar uninstaller for Retrospect 11.5.3 please? As I don't see one in the Applications folder. I am trying to stop the Retrospect Engine via. the System Preferences Control Panel and it's not working. When I look in Activity Monitor there is no retro engine listed either ? :-(
twickland
Is there an similar uninstaller for Retrospect 11.5.3 please? Each version of Retrospect comes with an uninstaller script. If you can't find it, you can reinstall it from the Retrospect disk image file. When I look in Activity Monitor there is no retro engine listed either ? :-( Are you viewing all processes? Retrospect Engine runs as a root process, not a user process.
ggirao
To stop Retro engine wait at least 10min. Once I had remote reboot a server that was (also) running retrospect. I was at home late night and when I saw no response from server I decided to drive to office. I dressed clothes and when I was about to close my house's door I tried again and it was already up and running. So Later I tested and I concluded that was the time for retro to stop ;-)
