Retrospect window

Recommended Posts

Retrospect 9 consists of two parts:

* The engine that runs the backups. It has no user interface.

* the console, which is showing you what the engine is doing.

So you can Quit the console and launch it again without affecting the engine (and therefore not affecting the running backups).

Right, how to I bring the console back? Is it just not available while backups are running?

You only need to Quit Retrospect if it is running.

In the Finder, go to "Applications" and double-click on the Retrospect application. (That is the console.)

Alright. Forgive me, I obviously have little experience.

Just to be clear the console is the UI where I'll be able to manage tapes, etc?

thanks for the help
