theboyk
Does anyone know of a way to remote deploy the Retrospect 9 client (for the Mac) where the client will be enabled/turn on post-installation? I need to deploy the client to about 35 machines and I'd rather not have to manually turn each client on. I can remote install the client packages via Apple Remote Desktop, but I haven't been able to find any configuration settings within the packages for the installer that would set the client to "on". Thanks, Kristin.
carlo
Hello, me too I would be very much interested in knowing how to "turn on" Retrospect Client (PreferencePane) after deployment. TIA Carlo
carlo
Hello, I have just found out there's no need to find a way to turn ON the client, as - unless otherwise chosen on the server prefs - users cannot turn OFF the client. Many thanks Carlo
CallMeDave
Start client: sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.retrospect.launchd.retroengine.plist Stop client: sudo launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.retrospect.launchd.retroengine.plist
