twickland Posted March 6, 2012 Report Share Posted March 6, 2012 I was performing a restore today using Retrospect 9.0.1 (401). I needed to restore from an earlier snapshot, so I clicked on the More Backups... button and retrieved the desired snapshot from the tape. However, the restored snapshot did not appear in the Select Backup list. I canceled the restore operation and started again, but the retrieved snapshot was still not visible. I then quit and relaunched the console and initiated a restore, at which point the restored snapshot finally appeared and I could carry out the restore operation. Additional information: The original backup was performed under Retrospect 8.2. Tape drive is an HP StorageWorks Ultrium 3000 SAS LTO-5 drive connected via an ATTO ExpressSAS H644 HBA on a Mac Pro 3.2 GHz Quad-Core with 10 GB RAM, running OS 10.6.8.
