Hofstede 6 Report post Posted March 13, 2012 Should this app also work for Retrospect Professional? The App asks for server and password. I guess that is only available for multi server versions?
Mayoff 124 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 As far as I know it works with professional. You must use the latest version of Retrospect 7.7 if you are not already.
Hofstede 6 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 Thanks. I ask this because the app asks for a server name and password. I only know about the password assigned to the clients. I don't recall setting any Retrospect related password for the server machine that is running. So which password does the app require?
stacyd 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 Works great!
Mayoff 124 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 Go to Configure>Preferences>Security. If you have set the program to require a password on launch, try using that password inside the App with no username.
Hofstede 6 Report post Posted March 14, 2012 Just tried it again this evening. Now it works. Thanks.
Ramon88 2 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 I just installed the new iOS app. However while syncing the app freezes and Retrospect itself crashes (eventually) to the desktop after it produces an error window: Assertion failure at "datetime.cpp-836". After I restart Retrospect the iOS app unfreezes and tries to connect again. Any ideas? Retrospect used is Multi Server 7.7.620 on Windows Server 2008 R2. Mayoff 124 Report post Posted July 16, 2012 Can you attach a copy of the assert log for this? We will take a look. We thought it was on the bug list, but I guess it isn't.
