jlillard
Is it possible for Retrospect to throw out a quick e-mail notification when it detects an assert?
Lennart_T
I would say "no". An assert is a very low-level type of error. This mean the normal error has already failed and this is the last resort. Sending an email is (in this context) a very "high level" task. The program (Retrospect) is probably not even able to get the email address off the preferences file, let alone open a new network connection to the mail server. jlillard
The only reason I asked is because it seems to be able to throw an alert box instead of relying on the standard Microsoft crash window. So I was hoping it could do more.
