Heated
is there a product description of how VM's (vmware fusion or parallels) are handled using version 9? for example let's say i am performing incremental backups and retrospect sees that there is a difference in the VM file. will it then backup that entire VM file or somehow just what is different about the file. Maser
You could also install the Windows client in the VM and back up the contents (or a favorite folder) of the VM while the VM is running. Might be really slow, but would end up taking less space.

(The server is Windows 7.6, but should be the same for Retrospect 9.
Monafly
I can confirm that with V9, a VMware Windows XP client backs up just like any other Win machine does. I have unique IP's for the VM rather than using the host Mac's if that makes any difference. Speed has not been noticeably different that a real Win machine.
